Two Most beautiful ,  most talented and great voices of India ... One Lata Mangeshkar, the melody queen of Hindi flim industry playback singers and another Sandhya Mukherjee, the queen of Bengali playback singers of golden era and also a student of Bade Ghulam ali Khan.... both are living Legends. These two nightingales come together in this wonderful melody for two onscreen beaties...Madhubala and Shyama. While Lata sings for Madhubala, Sandhya sings for Shyama.

The characters played by both Madhubala and Shyama ( Tarana and Sheila respectively) are passionately in love with character played by Dilip Kumar (Dr.Motilal). While Madhubala plays an innocent village girl madly in love with Dilip, Shyama's character is urban, sofisticated . Dilip's father has decided to get Dilip married with Shyma. When Tarana realises Dilip's delicate feelings towards her she cannot help joyously singing and dancing to express her pleasant mood. Sheila on the other hand, is eagerly waiting the arrival of her would be husband and dreaming about the romance blossoming between them.

These pleasant melody expresses the delicacy of subtle romantic mood , in the listener's mind. Both Madhubala and Shyama look fresh, young and lively. Very appealing song that keep lingering in the mind long after it ends.
