Lata had sung a song "Chanda Re Ja Re Ja Re"in film "Zinddi 1948",under Khemchand Prakash, which was very popular. Therefore "Chanda" had become very popular in her songs. This song again highlighted the fact.

Nalini Jaywant was heroine of the film.She herself was a singer.However from film "Anokha Pyar 1948", her songs were being recorded in Lata's voice. However, this film had one song "Ham Se Mil Gaye Nahi Hamare Saiyya", was recorded in Nalini Jaywant's voice. There were other songs in the film, but this film will be remembered for this song only, which is all time classic song of Lata Mangeshkar.
