During a theft at railway shed, Sundar , when confronted ,accidentally kills a chowkidar. Ashok wandering in the shed , sees the dying chowkidar and gives complaint to police. The chowkidar turns out to be none other than Nimmo's father.  Orphaned Nimmo is perfect candidate for the female gangster Kaptaan is searching for. Nimmo join the gang not knowing the real job. During an underhand errand, Ashok and Nimmo meet. He flirts with her, softening her feelings towards him ,by crooning lovely song in a romantic moon night.  An affectionate bond and tender feelings of love slowly begins to develop between Ashok and Nimmo.

(A sense of sereneness is spreading across on the surroundings. It is encompassing even the placid sky, the hanging moon and  distant quiet stars. In this hushed climate , my heart beats for your fond company.  In this quietude it is searching you and your warm love feelings.

The surroundings are blanketed with contentedness and  bliss. Happiness is spreading across every corner of the world, and in this beatitude, only your company will rescue me from loneliness and desolateness.

The progressing night is gradually becoming younger by hour by ever youthful moon hanging in the calm sky. Please give me respite from the forlorn, solitary state.)

Sahir's words aptly describe the delight and bliss of a man, entering the paradise  of love and getting intoxicated by the sereneness it brings to the yearning heart. SDB's soulful tune rendered in Hemant Kumar's deep, manly voice makes this song unforgettable.
