Lata Mangeshkar sang three solos in film Awara 1951, "jabse balam Ghar Aaye",Aa Jao Tadapte hai armaan", and Ek Bewafase Pyar Kiya". The song " Jabse Balam Ghar Aaye", was a happy song, depicting the jolly mood when one's beloved comes home. Other two songs were sad songs, fully soakedin pathos and anguish of separation.Lata's tender voice laden with misery of lone soul, the different interludes, best use of piano and mendolin and the inherent rhythm, contributes to the beauty of the song and makes it one of the best Lata Mangeshkar solo song.
