Aakhiya Milake Jiya Bharmake

Aakhiyan Milake Jara Baat Karo ji-Lata Mangeshkar and Rafi- Pardes 1950- Lyricist Shakeel Badayuni-Music Ghulam Mohammad.

After becoming a full fledged music director, Ghulam Mohammad worked as an assistant to Composer Naushad.Since Shamshad was a prominent singer in Naushad's music direction, Ghulam Mohammad also used her in his films. However after Film andaz 1950, Lata's voice gained prominence in Naushad's music. This also reflected in Ghulam Mohammad's music.Although Shamshad's songs " Mere Ghungarwaale Baal",Ek Rhitu Jaaye, Ek Rhitu Aaye" were popular, the real winner were the songs of Lata in this film. Apart from this song with Rafi, Lata sang five solo songs in this film. These were

1. Kissmat Bananewale Jara Samane To Aa.

2. Jiya Longe Nahi Mora.

3. O Ji Hole Hole Anganamein.

4. Janewale Tuze Ham Yaad Kiye Jayenge.

5. Raat Hai Taronbhari.

The song "Aakhiyan Milake Jara Baat Karo Ji" was lilting and sweet, happy melody, picturised on Rehaman and Madhubala , who were in lead role. Lata's voice became prominent in Ghulam Mohammad's music, from this film.
