Jab Nain Mile Nainonse- Shamshad Begum- Film Jadoo 1951- Lyricist Shakeel Badayuni- Music Naushad.

Composer C.Ramchandra introduced the flavour of western music in Hindi Film Songs. Composer Naushad was very much against it. He always resisted the contamination of Indian film music with western music. Especially he did not approve the stealing of western tunes and using it blatantly unaltered in Indian music. However , paradoxically, Naushad also stole a western tune and used it in his music. The tune was "Lara Lu Lara Lu" from famous Hollywood film,  " The Loves of Caramen". The film Jadoo was lifted from this Hollywood film shot by shot. The film " The Loves of Caramen" was about life of jipsy carvan, and had couple of Spansih Tunes. One of the tunes was "La Ra Lu". Naushad interspersed the tune in the above song, unaltered.

However, except this song, other songs in this film were having their roots in Indian folk songs, for example, the songs like "Ulaz Gaya Jiya Mora (Lata)", "LO Pyar Ki Ho Gayee Jeet (Lata)" and Gin Gin Taare, Mai Haar Gayi Raatko(Lata)" etc.clearly had the Indian fragrance.
