Ae Pyar Teri Duniyase Ham..

Ae Pyar Teri Duniyase Ham- Lata Mangeshkar- Film Jhnajhar 1953- Lyrics Rajendra Krishna- Music C.Ramchandra.

C.Ramchandra was composing music for film Anarkali and Jhanjhar simultaneously. New Sai Productions was the firm founded by comedian Om Prakash and Jhanjhar was the first film produced by this firm. Sajjan was the Hero, Kamini Kaushal and Usha Kiran were two leading ladies. All the songs were penned by Rajendra Krishna. Composer C.Ramchandra had taken lot of  efforts on the music of Jhanjhar,  and he expected it to become popular. He had not  much hope for Anarkali's music. However in this film industry, nobody can predict certainly, which movie will be hit and which not.  Anarkali became a raging hit. It was the biggest hit in 1953. On the other hand,  film Jhanjhar miserably flopped.  Due to melodious music,  film Anarkali created history. Jhanjhar, however was unable to get that fame and popularity.
Yet, there are some movies which do not achieve commercial success, but are remembered for their quality music. Jhajjhar was such a movie. Lata Mangeshkar's voice had become an integral part of C.Ramchandra's music by that time. Therefore, it was obvious that Lata got fair share of songs in Jhanjhar. Apart from this song, She had sung following songs in the movie....
    1. Mohe Lage Sara Jag phika phika.
    2. Mausam Hai Thanda Aa Khele Gili Danda.
    3. Raat Barsaat Ki Pahali Mulaqaat Ki.
    4. Chhed Gaye Mere Sapnomein Kanha
    5. Tumbin Mori Kaun Khabar Le Giridhari.
    6. Ji Chahta Hai Ab To Duniyase Kat Jay.
All these songs were melodious and Lata's Midas touch  made these songs popular. However the song " Ae Pyar Teri Duniyase Ham" , certainly stands apart. It is the classic example of musical gem Lata-CR combination had produced. Lata's tender and compassionate voice and C.Ramchandra's heavely music has taken this song to a new level. Rajendra Krishna's lyrics is awe inspiring, every word having profound meaning. Although Rajendra Krishna was credited as lyricist of the song, first two lines " Baharein Bech daali, Phoonk Daala Ashianonko, Jarasi Rakh Rakh Di, Bewafa Tujhko Dikhaneko" were penned by Kedar Sharma, who himself was notable lyricist and Director of the film. These lines imparted  additional weight and beauty to the song. Lata on her part, has rendered the song with ardour and  passionate intensity. The song therefore remains itched in the mind of listeners. Truly , a masterpiece and all time classic song.

Rajendra Krishna's lyrics brings forth the agonies of broken heart and separation. She had forsaken entire world, disowned everything. The only thing remained with her is the burnt remains of her hopes and aspirations and she has kept them to show to her beloved, who had betrayed her ardent and passionate love. She has decided to leave behind the world of love with heavy, grief stricken heart.
She had entered into the paradise of love with many hopes and desires. There were dreams in her eyes. However at the end of this, what she got is an episode full of angst and miseries. From such a brief love , what can she take away ? She thanks  his kindness for allowing her to abandon the love with sorrow eyes full of  tears, welling up from within her heart.
