Zindagi Denewale Sun- Talat Mahmood- Film Dil-E-nadan 1953- Lyrics - Shakeel Badayuni-Music Ghulam Mohammad
Talat Mahmood came in Hindi Film Industry to become an actor. Initially in his career, he acted in 14 films, the chief among them being, Aaram 1951 (Guest Role), Thokar 1953, Dil-E-Nadan 1953, Waris 1954, Ek Gao Ki Kahani 1957, Lala Rukh 1958 and Sone Ki Chidiyan 1958. He had good looks and voice to become a hero in Bollywood sense, yet he did not get the fame and success. He therefore concentrated on his singing career. Thankfully, listeners got a  genius singer with velvet smooth voice with imperceptible quiver , which turned out to be unique style no can and will able to imitate.
Dil-E-Nadan was a romantic drama involving a love triangle. Kamini (Peace Kanwal) and Asha (Shyama) are two sisters living with their wealthy father, Seth Hirachand (Diwan Sharar). Seth Hirachand helps Mohan to make a name for himself as a music director. Kamini and Mohan fall in love, but Asha lets Kamini know that she loves Mohan. Having spoilt Asha, as an older sister Kamini gets Asha and Mohan married. However things don't work out between the two. Asha is disturbed by Mohan's music and finds it boring. She finds out about Kamini and Mohan's affair and consumed with rage a pregnant Asha runs after Mohan but trips down the stairs. Badly injured, she gives birth and dies handing the baby to Kamini. After a few years, Kamini and Mohan are brought together by Mohan's son, who insists on calling Kamini, mother.
In the music department, Ghulam Mohammad gave a stellar performance. The music of the film was dominated by Talat Mahmood. Out of total Nine songs. Talat sang five songs
    1. Zindagi Denewale Sun, Teri Duniya Se Dil Bhar Gaya
    2. Jo Khushi Se Chot Khaye, Woh Jigar Kaha Se Laaun
    3. Ye Raat Suhani Raat Nahin Ae Chand Sitaron So Jao
    4. Muhabbat Ki Dhun Bekararo Se Poochho (With Sudha Malhotra and Jagjit Kaur)
    5. Teri Khaatir Sitam Dil Par
All these songs were raging hit. However the winner songs, that stand apart from other songs are 'Zindagi Denewale Sun' and 'Mohabbat Ki Dhoon Beqararonse poochho.' Especially the song 'Zindagi Denewale Sun' can be considered as one of the masterpiece of Talat Mahmood. His velvet smooth voice with slight quiver effectively pours out the anguish of  betrayal by the cruel destiny. Mohan (Talat Mahmood) has no intention to live more, he is through with this inconsiderate world. He is feeling like dying every day. His heart is burnt and full of injuries which are difficult to heal. His days and nights are long and painful. There is torment in his sorrow filled eyes and heart. He feels that somebody has magically turned his life to melancholy. He curses the God for taking away all the pleasures of life and  leaving him alive without any purpose. He wants to tell God in no nonsense words that He has ruined his life out of sheer jealousy. What a powerful lyrics. Every word expresses the agonies and miseries of broken heart engulfed in grief and angst. Lyrics, rendering and music...in every department this song stands tall. indeed a masterpiece...
