Aisa Kya Kasoor Kiya- Lata Mangeshkar, Ram Chitalkar- Film Naadan 1951-Lyicist P.L.Santoshi- Music Chic Chocolate.

Chic Chocolate born as Antinio Xavier Vaaz was an integral part of C.Ramchandra team and worked as arranger. The Govan flavour in C.Ramchandra's peppy and light songs should be credited to Chic Chcolate. He also assisted Madan Mohan in composing the music.

Nadan, released in 1951 was a Dev Anand-Madhubala starrer film for which Chic Chocolate composed music. CR himself motivated him to compose music for Nadan, albeit under his supervision. The records of film Nadan mentions C.Ramchandra as Sangeet Nirikshak .Since Chic Chocolate worked under CR for considerable time, his music in Nadan was heavily influenced by CR style. The songs he composed so resembled CR kind of songs, that many listeners give credit of Nadan's music to C.Ramchandra.

C.Ramchandra sang following light, racy songs in film Naadan:

CR's voice suited to such flying peppy songs but not slow, affectionate songs. Still he tried his voice in such songs occassionally. "Dheere Se Aaja Ri"(Albela 1951) and later on " Kitna Haseen Hai Mausam",(Azad 1955), are the finest examples of such songs by CR.

In the above song however, considering the delicacy of the song , C.Ramchandra decided to give male voice to Rafi, whose mellow voice suited the song very well. And what a song it turned out to be. It effectively depicts the sufferings and torments of heart break. Both Rafi's and Lata's tender voices brings fourth miseries and pains of separation. The feelings of agony and desolateness are very well reflected of Madhubala's and Dev's face. She wonders what mistake she has committed, so that her beloved has neglected her and repudiated her ardent love. She feels that the days, when they were in love, were filled with sparkles of laughter and joy. Those days have passed now and only thing left is her eyes welling with tears. What a beautiful lyrics !! Lata as usual excels in the song and Rafi's soft, tender voice very well complements her voice. This song however C.Ramchandra written all over it.
