Kar De Zara Ishara Tere Naam Ka Saahara

Kar De Zara Ishara-Lata Mangeshkar-Film Khazana 1951-Lyricist Rajendra Krishna- Music C.Ramchandra.

There are two distinct C.Ramchandras. One, who composed fast paced mad cap comedy songs with racy rhythms like "Aana Meri Jaan Sunday Ke Sunday", and other one who composed soulful, deeply mooving tender melodies for lata like "Balma Bada Naadan Hai". He always reserved some very soft, slow (and mostly sad) melodies to Lata. The combination of C.Ramchandra and Lata has produced so many musical Gems that are truly priceless and mesmerizing.

This melody composed especially for Lata is relatively unknown, but has a kind of sweetness and capacity to captivate the listener's mind. It remains itched into mind long time even after it ends.
Lat's soft voice laden with miseries and anguish, effectively conveys the pathos of lovelorn lady. She is so helpless, that she feels only the name of her beloved can steady her life. Without his assuring presence, her world is being swept into storm and collapsing fast.

Lyrics of the Song:
