Lo Pyar Ki Ho Gayi Jeet

Lo Pyar Ji Ho Gayi Jeet- Lata Mangeshkar- Film Jadoo 1951- Lyricist Shakeel Badayuni-Music Naushad.

Film Jadoo 1951, was a psychological melodrama, with tragic end. The story and picturization of the film was an outright theft from famous Hollywood Film "The Loves of Caramen", produced by Columbia Pictures. For this theft, Director A.R.Kardar had to part with handsome compensation to Columbia Pictures, for copyright violations.

The story of "The Loves of Caramen" was based on jipsy community. In Jadoo also, the story revolves around a bad tempered singer/dancer ,Sundari (Nalini Jaywant), leading an amoral life. She meets Police Constable Preetam (Suresh) and they fall in love. Sundari is arrested in a brawl, attacking a woman and gets arrested. Preetam manages her escape. For this, he is severely reprimanded by his superior. Sundari asks preetam to be forgiven. Later Preetam comes to know she is member of a criminal gang headed by Rahu, who considers Sundari as his own property. Preetam joins Sundari in shady deals and soon is hunted by police. In the fag end, Preetam shoots Sundari and gets killed by police.

In the above song , Sundari, confesses to Preetam that her heart has been won by him and she is dedicating entirely her love to him. Now her heart is totally occupied by his love and she remains to be totally immersed in it. A very sweet melody from Lata in her honey dripping voice, under the baton of Naushad. Shakeel's words are simple and effectively express the joy of falling in love.

Lyrics of the song:
