Shola Jo Bhadke Dil Mera Dhadke

Shola Jo Bhadke Dil Mera Dhadke- Lata Mangeshkar, Ram Chitalkar- Film Albela 1951- Lyricist Rajendra Krishna- Music C.Ramchandra.

Bhagwan Dada's dance style was unique. His body was not all that perfect for dancing, but the dance came from within his body. He danced for his own fun and not to show others, his prowess. Bhagwan Dada danced in seven songs of Albela. In this song, hawaiin style dancing and attire is superbly blended with Hindi song.

This song was placed at the end of movie.Normally after the reunion of hero and heroine, typical hindi movie ends. The viewers then have no interest in the movie. The composer C.Ramchandra therefore was skeptic about whether viewers will remain in theatre. He rather advised Bhagwan to reserve the song for other movie. However, Bhagwan Dada knew the strength of the song to keep the viewers rooted to the chairs, hence he included the song in this movie, sweeping aside the C.Ramchandra's objection. His sixth sense proved right. The song was a raging hit. It was able to retain viewers in the chairs. It became so popular, that later on Bhagwan dada was tempted to produce a film named after the song " Shola Jo Bhadke".

Lyrics of the song:
