Wo Paas Rahe Hai- Lata Mangeshkar-Film Samadhi 1950-Lyricist Rajendra Krishna- Music C.Ramchandra

Although film Samadhi had songs of Ameerbai Karnataki, Citalkar himself and Shamshad Begum, the songs we still remember are the songs by Lata Mangeshkar. All slow,tender songs were given to Lata. Lata also sang these songs ardently and justified the faith reposed on her by the composer. There are three songs given to Lata. One is with Ameerbai (" Gore Gore O Banke Chhore"), whereas other two solos are Abhi Shyam Aayegi Nikalenge Tarein (covered in earlier post) and second was this song , which is full of pathos. These honey sweet songs are still remembered by the listeners. All Lata's solo were given to Nalini Jaywant, who was in lead role.
