Kaha Tak Ham Uthaye Gham
Talat Mahmood had only one song in film "Arzoo", released in 1950," Ae Dil Muze Aisi Jagah Le Chal", which gained him popularity first time. Similarly Sudha Malhotra also had one song " Mil Gaye Nain", penned by same Majrooh Sultanpuri. However, this song dod not get get her required popularity. Tormented by the separation with her beloved, Kamini Kaushal , playing the character of Kammo, sings this song on screen. She is totally lost her senses, does not know, where to go or rather whether to live or die, because the very purpose of living has vanished. She curses her destiny for this pathetic dilemma. Even the chirping of Papeeha , the blossoming of flowers gives her immense pain and anguish. She urges papeeha not to sing and flowers not to blossom and enhance her despair. Apt wordings of lovelorn lady with only desolateness within her heart. Truly classic song !!
