Although by 1950, Lata Mangeshkar has become an unavoidable fixture in C.Ramchandra's music, the voices of other singers like amirbai Karnataki and Shamsah Begum could still be heared in his music. However Sangeeta was the first film wherein the entire music was dominated by Lata Mangeshkar. all the above songs were solos. She also sang a song with Chitalkar " Gilgit Ki tarah Hai Rang Badalte" with Chitalkar. Out of above songs, " Jabse Mili Hai Nazar","Jara Suno Suno", and " Chupanewale Kahan Chhupe" and "Gilgit Ki Tarah"were light , lilting and naughty songs. Till that time, such light songs were invariably given to Shamshad Begum and Amirbai Karnataki, considering their strong voice and style of singing. The slow melodies were generally sung by Lata. However in this film, Lata even sang the light melodies along with slow, tender melodies containing pathos. Thus this film's music was totally dominated by Lata.

However, whenever the name of film comes to mind, a discerned listener of hindi film music will immediately remember the slow , affectionate and loving melodies of Lata only, because of their inherent sweetness and tenderness.
