Tere Sadke Balam No kar Koi Gham....

Tere Sadke Balam Na Kar Koi Gham-Lata Manageshkar- Film Amar 1954-Lyricist Shakeel Badayuni- Music Naushad.

Right from Aurat to Mother India to Son of India, all Mehboob han's films depict the women protagonist having courage to stand up against the injustice and adversities. They are stoic and determined. At the time when the word women's lib was unknown , his women showed courage to fight against all odds. Film Amar is no exception to this. Here also the female protagonist Anju (Madhubala) despite being engaged to principled lawyer Amar Nath, stands firmly against the injustice done to Sonia (Nimmi), when in a fist of lust the lawyer rapes her. He is suffering from the pangs of guilt but has no courage to admit the take the responsibility of his deed. It is Anju, who, when she learns about the incident, comes forward to prepare Amar Nath to repent and accept Sonia. In the process, she sacrifices her relationship with Amar, in order to give justice to Sonia and recover her from the state of desolateness.
The off-screen romance between Madhubala and Dilip which started on the sets of Tarana was in full swing by that time. This song comes in the movie, when the Romance between Anju and Amar is in full blossom. The chemistry between them is palpable here. The affectionate glances towards each other, the implicit trust, the gentle touches and caring gestures all reflect the depth of their intimacy.
Lyricist Shakeel's philosophic words profess that , life is short. It is full of happy as well as sorrow moments. The happy moments are few but sorrow dominates the human life. Therefore he urges to forget the agonies and miseries of the life and accept it with both hand, enjoying the pleasures and joyous moments. This way one will be able to brave the life without any shackles and obstacles.

Naushad's lilting music enhances the joyous mood of the song. On screen the romance between the lead pair is treat to watch.
