Yahi woh Duniya Mai jiska Sapna...

Yahi Wo Duniya,Mai Jiska Sapna- Lata Mangeshkar- Film Suhagan 1954- Lyrics Saraswati Deepak- Music Vasant Prakash
Produced by Dada Dharmadhikari and Directed  by eminent Marathi Director Anant Mane, Suhagan was a family drama film, shading a harsh light on the inflated , unjust dreams of wealthy married life while ignoring the human values. Both Dada Dharmadhikari and Anant Mane have produced and Directed many Marathi films as well as Hindi films. Suhagan was based on Marathi film Suvasini. The film gives the social message that  behind the apparent happy and wealthy life there always lurks the sorrow. The distant mountains are not always greene. The harsh reality is realised when one goes nearer to them.
Radha (Geeta Bali) is an unmarried young girl and has rainbow dreams about her married life. When she gets married to Shyam, her aspirations about the wealthy happy married life are dashed. Although Shyam is a caring, soft matured man, his meager earnings are not enough to meet the Radha's dreams. Fissures begin to develop, relationship begins  to strain Hot exchanges between the two, begin to take place. One day after a big fight, furious Radha leaves home. Her neighbours, Rambha and Ramesh, who are crook, play their part in destroying the  marriage by encouraging Radha to go to Bombay. Radha becomes a successful singer there and begins to enjoy the downpour of newly acquired wealth. Shankar a criminal, sent by Rambha, tries to rape her, telling her that it is the payback time for whatever help Rambha has done to enable Radha to get happy , rich life.
Radha escapes from his clutches and takes shelter in " Abla Nari Niketan", a organization, supposedly taking care of female destitute. However she comes to know that lot of illegal and immoral activities are going on  there. She is trapped in the dire situation. She reports the immoral activities to police , who raid the organization and Radha is rescued. By now she is repenting about her greedy nature, unrealistic rosy pictures about her married life. She also realises that it is love and affection, rather than money,  which is key of happy married life. She accidentally meets her old friends Jamuna and Govind in Bombay, who persuade her to return to home. She does and Shyam welcomes her with open hands... The end.
The plot was crisp, the treatment given to story was simple and neat. Vasant Prakash's music was lilting and complementing to the series of events happening in the movie. It is popular belief that the music was given by Vasant Desai and C.Ramchandra combo. However the name Vasant Prakash is derived from the Marathi composers Vasant Pawar and Ramchandra Wadhavkar, who collectively composed the music of the film.
In the above song, Radha, before her marriage is dancing with her friends,  busy painting rosy pictures of married life, she is aspiring for. Geeta Bali looks ravishingly beautiful in Radha's role. She is totally engrossed in imagining her rich, married life fulfilling all her demands. While doing so, she feels that her life will be filled with zest, happiness, where there will be no signs of sorrows and agonies.
