Dheerese Aana Bagiyan Mein- Singer S.D.Burman- Private Song.

This private song by S.D.Burman was very much in rage in the early fifties. It is so beaytifully sung by Burmanda in his flosky voice that it still evokes awe. The legendory Actor -Singer Kundan Lal Saigal was so fascinated by the song, that whevever Burmanda was visiting his old friend Manna Dey in Matunga, Bombay, Kundanlal Saigal who was also residing at Matunga ,near K.N.Singh's home, used to call Burmanda over to
to K.N.Singh's home, and compelled him to sing this song.He used to call him as " Re Bhavra"

Another song which has similar tune to this song is " Bhavra Shor Na Karna Gulshanmein" in film Dil 1946, which was sung by Noor Jehan and Moti who was a famous singer that time.Lyrics was penned by Shams Lakhnavi and music was composed by Jafar Khursheed




After his stupendous success as a front-line compser, Burmanda used this tune in his 1973 film Chupa Rustom. The song was a parody of original song and here the words were " Dheerese Jaana Khatiyanmein." On screen, Dev Anand sings the song, while courting Hema Malini. The song was written by Neeraj
