Jawa Hai Mohabbat- Noor Jehan- Film Anmol Ghadi 1946-Tareeq Naqvi- Music Naushad

In many of New Theatre's movies, there were two male singers like K.C.dey, Pahadi Sanyal, and Saigal. However in the movie Anmol Ghadi, which was released in 1946, first time two female singers, Suraiyya and Noor Jehan, came together. The hero of the film Surendra was also a singer. Noor Jehan sang five songs in the film, (including one duet with Surendra" Aawaz De Kaha Hai"), Suraiyya had three songs. However together the three singers did not have a single song in the film. The songs" Jawa Hai Mohabbat", "Mere Bachpan Ke Sathi",Aa Jaa Meri Barbad Mohabbat Ke Sahare" and " Aawaz De Kaha Hai", as well as the song " Udan Khatole Pe Ud Jaoon", were became a raging hit.

Even after so many years, the magic of "Anmol Ghadi" songs, remains intact with the listeners.
