Zinda Hoon Is Tarah Ki Ghame Zindagi Nahi-Mukesh-Film Aag 1948-Lyricist Behjad Lucknavi- Music Ram Gaguly.

"Aag",the first R.K.Banner Film, released in the year 1948, was the film, in which first time Raj Kapoor sang onscreen in Mukesh's voice.Earlier, Raj himself tried singing in films "Dil Ki Rani" and "Jailyatra". Mukesh on the other hand, tried his acting career, by acting in films like, "Nirdosh" and " Aadab Arj". Both were ardent fan of K.L.Saigal and had aspirations of becoming actor-singer like him. However, Raj Kapoor soon realised that singing was not his cup. Mukesh tried his luck further in "Aah"(Guest Role)," Anurag 1955" and Mashuka". When all these films flopped, he also realized that acting is not for him. He concentrated on singing career.

The association of Mukesh and Raj Kapoor started with this film ,and it continued in many coming R.K.Films. Later on, Mukesh's voice became synonymous to Raj Kapoor's voice.

This song, " Zinda Hoon Is Tarah" depicts the pangs and anguish of broken heart ,after the separation  of childhood dream. There is no light in his life, his life is long dead. Mukesh's voice carries the "Dard" of inevitable separation from the dearest one.
