Jahan wale Hame Duniyamein Kyu Paida Kiya- Lata Mangeshkar- Film Kundan 1955- Lyrics Shakeel Badayuni- Music Ghulam Mohammad.

Kundan was a social drama depicting the struggle of a petty thief, Kundan (Sohrab Modi), who steals bread loaf, to feed his niece Radha (Nimmi) and ailing mother. He is sentenced for two years in jail. Couple of unsuccessful attempts of escape from the jail, result in extending the jail sentence to fourteen years.

In the meanwhile Radha gets ,arried to a person Gopal (Pran), who turns out to be a crook. They have one daughter Uma (Nimmi) . Gopal  divests Radha of all her jewelery and disappears. Devastated Radha is helpless with nobody's support. Her life is full of sorrows. In her desolate state of mind, she opens the floodgate of emotions welling up from her crestfallen heart.
