 Le Aaj Teri Yaad Ki Nishani- Lata Mangeshkar- Film Lagan 1955- Lyrics Rajendra Krishna- Music Hemant Kumar. 

Released in 1955, Lagan was a film directed by O.P.Dutta. The lead pair was Sajjan and Nalini Jaywant, supported by Raj Mehra, Shammi, Om Prakash and Baby Naaz. All the songs of the film were written by Rajendra Krishna. The music was imparted by Hemant Kumar Mukhrjee. 

Lata was given three soulful songs as under: 

1. Mujhe Najar Se Utaaro. 

2. Le Aaj Teri Yaad Ki Nishani. 

3. Pi Ki Laganmein Chhotese Maganmein. 

All this songs were melodious and rendered in tender voice. Although nothing is available about the plot of the film, it's music was appreciated by discerned music lovers. The film today is remembered only because of it's music. "Le Aaj Teri Yaad Ki Nishani" song is a sad  song.
