Madhbhare Nain, released in 1955, had Bina Rai and Kishore Kumar in lead roles. The plot is all about the misunderstanding which could have been cleared by little bit of explanation and plain talks directly. Sham (Kishore Kumar) is a foreign returned youth for whom, his Guardians Ramprasad (Badri Prasad) and Leelavati (Durga Khote) are in search of a suitable bride. However they do not agree on any selected girl. Leelavati has already one girl in mind as a bride, to whom she had met during an election campaign.Her selection is not agreed upon by Ramprasad. On the other hand Ramprasad had selected a girl, who is daughter of his friend Kedarnath. They both often quarrel about each other's choice. 

Caught between two of his dearest relatives, Sham is convinced that he cannot make his choice without offending one of them.He leaves for Darjeeling to let the things cool.During the journey, he meets a girl in the Railway compartment, and is smitten by her beauty and charm. The Girl (Bina Rai), is however not responsive to his wooing. Sham is not discouraged, he continues to woo her in scenic Darjeeling landscape. After initial hesitation, the girl also begins to develop tender feelings towards Sham. They both fall in love. 

The problem however is acceptance of the Girl, by his guardians. Knowing that Sham is at Darjeeling, they come to Darjeeling to take him home. Things would have been simpler, if they know that the girl selected by Ramprasad, Leelavati and Sham is the same...Malti. Meanwhile Kedarnath has sought help of Police to locate his daughter. After many twists in the tale, both Sham and Malti are united.

Nice Lyrics and superbly blending lilting tune of the song creates an ambiance of joyous mood, in which Malti is lost. This is the magic created by the first love she experiences with Sham. She is on cloud nine, totally engrossed in the mystique world of love. She is not able to fathom the magic, but wants to dance on the intoxicating tune of love song.
