Leharonse Pooch Lo- Lata Mangeshkar & Kishore Kumar-Film Kafila 1952- Lyricist Brijendra Gaud- Music Husnalal Bhagatram.

Kishore Kumar's singing style , was actually not suitable for the music of composers like Hansraj Behl and Husnalal Bhagatram. Therefore Kishore Kumar was considered for only peppy comedy songs with racy rhythm at that time. However, sometimes composers were compelled to take Kishore's voice because of Ashok Kumar's insistence. Ashok Kumar, the eldest brother of Kishore Kumar, was popular Hero that time. In the case of Kafila, also, Rafi was the first choice of Husnalal Bhagatram. They had to take Kishore on Ashok Kumar's insistance, because although Arvind Sen was credited as Director of the film, real Director was Ashok Kumar. In the film's credits also, Ashok's name is mentioned as Director Supervision. In addition to this, Hero of Kafila was Ashok Kumar. Husnalal Bhagatram duo were the music director of film Kafila. Rafi's voice was integral to their music. Yet, due to Ashok Kumar's insistence Husnalal Bhagatram duo were compelled to take Kishore Kumar's voice.

The lead Pair of Kafila was Ashok Kumar and Nalini Jaywant. The songs were written by Brijendra Gaud, B.A. Moti and Kavi Pradeep. Although HB duo accepted Kishore's voice against their wishes,with due credit to Kishore ,  he gave full justice to the given songs. "Leharonse Pooch Lo" is such a duet with Lata Mangeshkar. Kishore had rendered the song with his subdued and tender voice complementing with lata's voice. Both singers have presented the song in harmony. The lyrics of Brijendra Gaud is remarkable and tune of Husnalal Bhagatram very melodious.
