Unke Bulawe Pe Bole Mera Dil

Unke Bulawe Pe Bole Mera Dil- Lata Mangeshkar-Film Naubahar 52- Lyricist Shailendra-Music Roshan

The music of film Naubahar, released in 1952, was totally infliuenced by Lata's voice. Roshan utilised the divine and young voice of Lata to full extent. Lata sang following songs for Naubahar..

1. Er Mai To Prem Diwani
2. Unke Bulawe Pe Bole Mera dil
3. Dekho Ji Mera Jiya Chhuraye Liye Jay
4.Kaha Hai Tu Kaha Hai
5.Bhatke Hue Musafir

Each song is a precious musical gem from the arsenal of Roshan. The comboination of Lata's honey sweet voice and  Roshan's captivating music is enough to intoxicate the listners. After film Anhonee which was released in the same year, the music of Naubahar  was another feather in Roshan's cap. Lata sang happy as well as sad songs and in both she excelled.
The story of the film revolves around the blossoming love between blind wealthy Ashok (Ashok Kumar) and simple and humble village girl Jamna (Nalini Jaywant), the separation and again inevitable reunion in filmy style. Nothing extraordinary about the stoty, which is full of coincidences and unexplainable twists, before finally coming to the end. The above song comes in the film, when Rajani (Sunalini Devi), Jamna's friend hums the song in her home, oblivious to her parents listening. Her childhood has ended and she is on the threshold of beckoning youth. She is exited to herald the arrival of youth. She is already experiencing the rainbows of sweet dreams in this magical youth dreamland. Her beloved and his fond affectionate memories have totally etched in her heart and she is in dilemma, whether to meet him or not when he calls her, as she is ashamed to face her. The youth urges her to meet him, whereas the bonds and traditions of society forbid her to do so.

Sunalini Devi through her angelic young  fresh face and effortless lucid movements convey the eagerness of a young lady about to enter the dreamy youth land.

Another happy song in this film sung by Lata is Dekhoji Mera Jiya Chhura Ke Liye Jaye. Onscreen the song is sung by Nalini Jaywant depicting the same emotions of first love encompassing her life with joy and she is enthralled to experience the magic of love bringing a profound change in her traits
